About Petey
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Petey! He is a sweet, adult male Pit Bull mix who was rescued from a difficult situation and is now ready for a loving home of his own. Petey recently had his tail amputated, but is healing very well and remains cheerful and affectionate. He thrives on human companionship and can experience separation anxiety, so he tends to howl when left alone for long periods. Petey is currently working on his basic manners and would be happiest in a home where he is the only pet, ideally with adults and older children. He absolutely loves going for long walks, snuggling under blankets, belly rubs, and chasing after balls! Fun fact: Petey was born on October 31, making him a Scorpio—expect plenty of loyalty and a little bit of lovable stubbornness! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
