About Huckleberry
Huckleberry is a 7-year-old Plott Hound who’s neutered, medium-sized, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s healthy, energetic, and has a playful but gentle side—especially around other dogs. Huck knows a few basic commands, walks well on leash, and takes treats with a soft mouth. He’s house trained and respects boundaries indoors. Though he can bark at cats outside the fence, he hasn’t been officially cat tested and comes with a warning regarding cats. Huck genuinely enjoys people and is good with other dogs, including mature and sometimes bossy companions. He likes kids in quieter homes but won’t be happy if the atmosphere feels like recess all day. He settles well in a crate or on a dog bed, preferring a calm household to match his seasoned outlook. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
