About Lainey
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Beautiful little Lainey is an Alabama rescue who was given a second chance at life after a rough start. Her favorite thing in the world is deep snuggling—she loves nothing more than cozying up with people or her foster siblings, making her the perfect “weighted blanket” companion. Squeaky toys are her passion, and she enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, especially with her people, though she also plays with other dogs in her foster home. Lainey is working on her confidence with new faces; while she’s often calm, she sometimes barks at strangers, but after a little time, she relaxes and becomes her usual affectionate self. On walks, she may pull and bark at other dogs and people, but her foster is providing training and she is showing good progress. She does well with crate training if needed and is mostly housebroken—she’s still figuring out how to handle cold weather but is improving with routine. Playtime and regular exercise keep her happy and content. If you want a loyal, loving pup who gives sloppy kisses and endless snuggles, Lainey could be your perfect match. She’s had time to decompress in a caring foster home and is eager to find a forever family where she can be cherished. Fun fact: With a birthday of April 27, Lainey is a Taurus—meaning she’s likely steady, loyal, and has a loving heart. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! A compassionate all-foster, all-volunteer rescue is helping Lainey find her happy ending.
