Meet Shade! Shade is a sweet, lovable, and playful boy who’s ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion, Shade might just be the perfect match. He adores attention—whether it’s cuddles, pets, kisses, or chin scratches—and he’s happiest when snuggled up next to you for a cozy nap. Shade has a calm side, but he also enjoys playtime. He loves chasing springs, batting at wand toys, and showing off his adventurous spirit. He can be both outgoing and brave, making him a fun and affectionate friend. Shade has been socialized with other cats, but he’d also do well as the only cat soaking up all the love. We think he’d thrive in a home with older children who can appreciate his sweetness but also understand that he can play a little rough sometimes. Shade currently has a polyp, and we are working with our vet to explore treatment options. Because of this, he is available as a foster-to-adopt, giving him the chance to settle in while we continue to support his care.
