Cookie thrives on affection and attention and is happiest when she can be right by your side, soaking up love and giving it right back. She is a sweet, loving, and beautiful big girl who forms strong bonds with her people. Cookie has been exceptionally well cared for. She is spayed, up to date on all immunizations, fed a high-quality diet, and receives dental care to keep her healthy and comfortable. She loves giving kisses and has been gentle and affectionate with the family’s 5-year-old grandson, showing patience, warmth, and a loving nature around children. She is energetic, playful, and full of life. Cookie loves to run, play, and especially loves fetch—though finding a ball she can’t destroy is part of the several commands, including sit, stay, down, drop it, give it, and “good girl.” She enjoys learning and wants to please. Because the family does not have other pets and is unable to take her to dog parks, her behavior around other animals is unknown. Cookie does best with daily exercise and multiple outlets for her energy. Without enough activity or when left unattended for long periods, she may chew, so she would benefit from structure, supervision, and an active routine. Reason for rehoming: This difficult decision is due to the family’s age and their inability to provide the amount of daily exercise and activity Cookie needs. She is a young, high-energy dog who deserves a lifestyle that allows her to run, play, and stay engaged every day.
