About Valentino Houston

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Valentino is a just-over-4-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of quiet love. He arrived at Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue after being found as a stray in Texas, bearing several puncture wounds on his back and rear end, likely from a tough encounter with a dog. Although his body has healed, Valentino is still learning that the world and the people in it can be safe places to be. Because of his past experiences, Valentino is understandably nervous around people and needs a calm, patient home where he can set the pace for building trust. While he might be shy with humans, he is absolutely devoted to his feline companions, often found cuddling with every kitty roommate he's had. Other cats are truly his source of confidence and happiness. With his one-year anniversary at RMFR approaching, everyone hopes that Valentino can start the next chapter of his life in a loving, understanding home. It's essential that he goes to a home with another friendly cat and people who appreciate that trust takes time, but is deeply rewarding. For anyone longing to give a reserved but loving cat the patience, space, and companionship he deserves, Valentino could be your perfect fit. Did you know? With a birthday on December 11, Valentino is a Sagittarius, which means he's destined to be adventurous once he feels safe. Your new best friend is just one click away.
