About CupCake
Cupcake, affectionately known as Miss Cakes, is a six-year-old French Bulldog who’s spent the last few months charming everyone she meets. Despite paralysis in her hind legs, she's still blazingly fast and can outpace her humans in her wheels when she wants to—don’t let her mobility challenges mislead you. Cupcake’s care does involve expressing her bladder and using diapers to prevent infections, but guidance and plenty of tips are available if you’re new to this. She also deals with occasional stomach upset as part of her condition and takes supplements, not medications, to help with that. She’s endlessly affectionate, a cuddler who’ll nudge your leg for extra attention or curl up for a nap in her favorite blanket. Expect to invest in sturdy toys—Cupcake’s piranha-like teeth can destroy most things not built to last. She’s got a unique look with one blue and one brown eye, and a distinct ‘resting bulldog face’ that hides nothing but sweetness underneath. If you’re willing to learn and open to the daily basics of her special needs, you’ll find her care quickly becomes second nature. Her happiness depends on a safe, attentive home ready for a loving companion with a slightly unusual routine. If you’ve got questions, her current caretakers are happy to help show you the ropes. Give her the second chance she deserves—Cupcake is waiting for her next chapter. Click apply to start the adoption process.
