Mr. Spooky is looking for a loving, safe, and quiet home to spend the rest of his days. This sweetheart had a rough start to his life, he was found trapped in a chain link fence at a car junk yard, starving, flea riddled, and cold. Now, he’s a bit skittish, shy, and scared of many loud noises. However, if you give him time and patience, Mr. Spooky is loyal, playful, and absolutely adorable. Though he’s getting braver every day, Mr. Spooky will likely take a few months to really feel at home. He needs an adopter with a lot of patience, it’s important to be okay with the fact that he’s not quick to open up. Mr. Spooky is very food motivated, he loves pate and treats, you can use these to bond with him and encourage him to trust you. Other than his foster siblings, Mr. Spooky loves laser pointers, cat trees, and anything he can climb. After he loses his hesitancy, Mr. Spooky purrs as soon as you pet him, and loves belly rubs. Something he often does is stare at his foster mom with wide eyes while making biscuits. His favorite place is his foster mom’s bedroom, he likes napping inside her dresser the most! Mr. Spooky is fine with small dogs, but would be scared of small children. He can be a solo cat or in a home with other cats. Mr. Spooky is bilingual and speaks Spanish. He is microchipped, neutered, and has been treated for worms and fleas. Mr. Spooky is being fostered in Moreno Valley and attends adoption events in Murrieta. He has an adoption fee of $250.
