About Kaylee
Kaylee is a perfectly medium-sized, 36-pound girl with a playful side and a sharp nose for adventure. She started life in a high-risk shelter after being born in August 2024 and, since her rescue, has flourished into an upbeat, social companion with a hint of curiosity everywhere she goes. Her look suggests she’s a beagle/hound mix, maybe with some German Shepherd in her. She’s crate trained and has had no accidents, and moves nicely on leash. She comes when called, sits on command, and is working on "stay." Kaylee genuinely enjoys playing with much larger dogs, proudly parading sticks around the yard, and exploring new scents. After her outdoor explorations, she appreciates a gentle pat on the head. Kaylee is affectionate, smart, and naturally eager to investigate her world but will take a moment to warm up at first. She’s friendly though, and would do well in an active home that enjoys having a walking and sniffing buddy. Kaylee is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She’s ready to meet her people in Sarasota, FL. Click apply to start the adoption process.
