Passed his cat test wonderfully, he thinks they are terrifying and will roll over and close his eyes. We do our very best in providing truthful information about our adoptable dogs. If you do not see information about one of our dogs’ personalities, it is because we do not know much about them yet. We do appreciate a dog meet and greet to see if the dogs are compatible, an appointment is helpful but not required. We can complete a cat introduction at the shelter in a safe manner to get a sense of the dog’s behavior towards cats. With that knowledge, we will provide a blanket statement that you are ultimately responsible for keeping your cat safe. We recommend crate training for all our dogs while they adjust to a new home environment. Please bring along your family to meet the dog you’re looking at to see that it is a good fit. Also bring landlord permission for adopting a dog which includes any breed or weight restrictions.
