Once settled in, he plays well with dogs around his size and age. He is shy in a group and more confident one-on-one. Bubs is intelligent and cautious. He is food and treat motivated. He crates on command. Bubs probably hasn't lived in a house before but hasn't had an accident in the house or the crate. He is more confident in a one-on-one situation, or with more gentle playmates. Bubs definitely is independent. Without a leash, he will go off but will recall when encouraged. . He has only had his name for a week, so he is still learning it. He currently lives with 2 other 60-70lb Shepherd mixes and one human. Bubs requires exercise, mental stimulation, and positive attention. He's pretty calm and is content to nap near his human. He would do best in a home where he is the only dog, or in a home with a more mature dog that can teach him the ropes. He could be someone's first dog. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
