About Lucy
Click apply to start the adoption process. Lucy is a special mixed breed Boxer/Cattle Dog whose owner has had the privilege of loving her for over two years. Her personality truly shinesβsheβs sweet, silly, and always up for family adventures. Lucy loves keeping active through playful zoomies, enjoys keep-away with her toys, and will shower you with plenty of cuddles and kisses. She thrives on daily routines and is happy to join in on both busy and lazy days. Although she is a bit of a Velcro dog, she still values her moments of independence. She is well-trained, food-motivated, and eager to learn new commands. Lucy is housebroken, rarely finds trouble, and has proven herself trustworthy even when left alone outside of her crate. Crate-trained for meals and relaxation, she never rushes the front door. While mainly well-behaved, her curious side may lead her to the bathroom trash if given the chance. Ideally, Lucy would do best as the only dog, as she sometimes resource guards valued items. She can also be reactive to unfamiliar men but settles down with proper introductions. Lucy awaits her next loving chapter with a family who will continue to nurture, train, and include her as the devoted companion she is. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
