Missy
AvailableMissy is a large dilute calico adult female with a short coat, currently in Clarksville, IN. She is spayed and house trained. She likes to have her independence, prefers to be the only cat or with another calm cat, and would do best in a home without small children.
About Missy
Missy came to us after her owner moved into a nursing home with nowhere else to go. She’s a classic cat—very much her own boss, with a good dose of sass and independence. Missy does well as an only cat, though she’ll tolerate a gentle feline companion. Be aware: she can nip if pushed and has a low tolerance for being made to do things she isn’t in the mood for, so a home without young children is a must. True to her calico personality, Missy knows what she wants and will let you know if she doesn’t want to cooperate, but she’s also loyal and can be a wonderful companion for someone who gives her space. Questions about Missy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Missy, as a dilute calico domestic cat, is best suited for an indoor living environment, preferably in a home where she can enjoy peace and space to relax. She’ll thrive in a calm setting with predictable routines.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Missy doesn’t require outdoor space and should ideally remain indoors for her safety. Like most domestic cats, she can get the exercise and stimulation she needs inside with toys and cozy spots.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Missy would not be well suited for homes with small children, as she can nip and needs people who respect her boundaries. Older kids or adults who understand cat body language are a better fit.
