About Lily
Lily showed up as a stray in the dead of winter—nervous, wandering, and not sure who to trust. Now, her bright personality has started to shine. She loves belly rubs, often tossing herself into your lap with total trust. Lily gravitates more to women and truly is a girl's girl. Her energy level is high, so she needs plenty of physical and mental enrichment to thrive, especially at her young age. She’s still bouncing back from her time on the streets and is on basic skin supplements to feel her best. Lily has shown a real eagerness to learn, quickly picking up basic obedience and already impressing the trainers. She’s house trained and has a short, easy-care coat in shades of brown and white. At about 2 years old and around 56 lbs, Lily is affectionate and handles hardship with resilience. Lily can’t go to a home with cats or small children. It’s not clear yet how she’ll do with other dogs, but these meetings can be arranged. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who wants to trust again, Lily is waiting in Milford, CT.
