About Lily

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Lily arrived in the cold of winter as a stray—scared, disoriented, and searching for warmth and safety. Once given a chance to blossom, she revealed a loving and playful side, especially cherishing belly rubs and even performing trust falls into your lap when she’s comfortable! Life before rescue has made Lily a "girl’s girl," naturally drawn to women and finding comfort in their company. As a young, energetic dog, she thrives with plenty of physical and mental activity to stay happy and healthy. Lily is still recovering from her time outdoors, benefitting from gentle OTC skin supplements to help her feel her best. At the shelter, Lily is already impressing everyone with her eagerness to learn—she picks up basic obedience skills quickly and enjoys engaging with new challenges. For her forever home, Lily will do best in an environment without small children or cats. While her feelings about canine companions are still being discovered, she’s open to meeting potential doggie friends through Meet and Greets. At about 2 years old and weighing in at 56 lbs, Lily is a joyful, resilient spirit who’s ready to leave her hardships behind. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
