About Miles
When a kind woman spotted Miles on her security cameras, she knew he needed help right away. Something had injured his upper lip, causing a severe infection. After a vet visit and some much‑needed care, his damaged lip eventually fell off — and his foster mom joked that he suddenly looked a bit like Elvis. Now fully healed, Miles is healthy, handsome, and genuinely one of the happiest boys around. Miles can be a little shy when he first arrives somewhere new, but once he warms up, he has so many stories to tell. He’s a big talker with a lot of opinions, and he’ll happily narrate his day to anyone who will listen. He loves toys of every kind, isn’t picky in the slightest, and he’ll dramatically flop over in front of you to request a belly rub like it’s his full‑time job. You can pick him up and handle him just fine, but he’s not much of a “being held” guy — he prefers his affection on his own terms. Miles would likely thrive in a home with female cats. He tends to pick fights with other males but seems perfectly content letting the ladies boss him around. He absolutely adores indoor life and is happiest watching the world safely from inside. If you’re looking for a sweet, quirky, talkative companion with a one‑of‑a‑kind smile, Miles might just be your guy. Contact his foster mom, Missy, at 507-273-8800. IMPORTANT: The HAHS adoption contract does not allow declawing of cats and kittens adopted from their organization. My adoption fee is $150.
