About Snowstorm
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Snowstorm is a tiny but mighty 5-year-old girl who narrowly survived a life-threatening pyometra infection—and she's ready for the soft, spoiled life she has always deserved. After her original owner passed away, Snowstorm was lovingly rehomed with a family member. Sadly, when she developed pyometra, she was ultimately surrendered to rescue care so she could receive the emergency medical intervention she so urgently needed. Pyometra is a dangerous infection of the uterus that can affect unspayed female cats—even those that are indoor only. Without prompt surgery, the infection leads to severe illness and is often fatal. Snowstorm's infected uterus was nearly a pound in weight, adding to the struggle for her petite frame. Fortunately, with emergency surgery, she was given a second chance. Now, in her foster home, Snowstorm is thriving and embracing her new lease on life. She shows her gratitude every day with gentle head bumps, loving rubs, and affectionate companionship. Her playful conversations and zest for attention reveal a spirited personality that belies her age. Despite her small stature, her loving nature fills the room. Snowstorm is searching for a future where she is pampered, cherished, and kept safe. She longs for a calm, loving home where she can leave her difficult past behind and finally enjoy the comfort and security she deserves. Besides her remarkable survival, Snowstorm is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, been dewormed, and is microchipped. Did you know she’s an Aquarius? Aquarians are known for being friendly and intelligent—just like her! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
