DOB: 06/05/2025, Date in rescue: 01/23/2026 Toddy was picked up as just a 13 week old kitten in the Johnson City, TN area. He was pretty sick and received wonderful care with a local shelter. He was in such rough shape, in addition to neuter, he needed an eye removed. This very friendly boy caught the attention of a wonderful veterinarian. Being so friendly but struggling to be healthy and well she knew he needed the attention of a medical foster. And with that a wonderful foster was located! Given Toddy's physical condition and a waxing/waning, FIP was suspected. Thankfully there is a highly effective cure! He immediately started treatment and has improved by leaps and bounds. His mobility is much better, he is eating on his own now, and he has gained weight. We hope to find a wonderful family for Toddy to join at the end of his treatment (12 week course). He tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV. Toddy is under the care of a sister rescue, Resque Them Sanctuary and we are assisting them with placement. While he's not under our rescue, he has been fully vetted and can't wait to find his forever family.
