Meet Chance! This 2 year old and his sister were terrified at the shelter, given a deadline (and a not very flattering shelter photo). With the help of a dedicated foster, we headed to the shelter to pick the two up. When we got there, we only saw Chance scared in a corner as his sister had already gotten a lucky ticket out of the shelter with another rescue. Chance came home with us and had been decompressing and warming up to his foster since! While he’s fearful, he’s very curious and loves a snack. He’s also been enjoying the company of another dog in a home. Chance still needs a full vetting and neuter as he was too scared to be seen in the shelter. We are going to get that taken care of, continue to help him trust humans, and get this little buddy ready for adoption! At 25 lbs and cute as can be, we know he’s going to make a special addition to his future family!
