Hi, I’m Sadie I’m a very sweet, petite Husky girl with a gentle heart and so much love to give. I’ve only been at the facility for a few weeks, and to be honest, it’s been a little scary for me. I get anxious in new environments and can try to escape when I’m overwhelmed, so I’m looking for a patient, dog-savvy family who understands that I need time, structure, and reassurance to feel safe. I would do best in a home with older children who can respect my boundaries and adults who are experienced with dogs and ready to help me settle in. I need a family that can keep me company most of the time, include me in daily family activities, and help me build the confidence and trust I lost after being abandoned at such a young age. Once I feel secure, I’m incredibly affectionate. I love to cuddle, sit in your lap, and stay close to my people. I’m also very small for a Husky, which makes me the perfect size to take along on outings, errands, and adventures once I’m comfortable.
