Kickflip has a friendly and affectionate nature—he loves every person and cat he meets, and he’s been known to snuggle right up with his foster feline mate, Kotake. His playful spirit shines when chasing feather toys, and he’ll give you a gentle tap on the ankle if you try to leave the fun too soon, as if to say, “Where are you going?” This easygoing boy adores affection and will come running for love the moment he sees you. He’s comfortable being picked up, carried, and kissed all over his big striped head, making him a delightful and cuddly companion. Kickflip originally arrived with a quirky limp, which inspired his name, but over the months his mobility has greatly improved. He now enjoys zooming around, climbing cat trees, and watching the world go by. At about 8 years old, Kickflip is happy as a solo cat if you have plenty of love to give, but he also thrives with cat friends. He’s never lived with kids or dogs, but his mellow temperament means he’d likely do well with careful introductions. Kickflip is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, and fully vaccinated. He’s FIV+ but FeLV negative, and recently finished successful treatment for FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). While reinfection with FIP is rare, potential adopters should familiarize themselves with the disease and its signs.
