Nitro and her siblings were found as tiny kittens, braving brutal cold after being born to a stray outside a Benton County mobile home park. Thanks to a determined rescuer, they were brought to safety just in time. Nitro is available for indoor homes only unless you’re interested in the barn cat program. Her rescue limits adoptions to homes within approximately 45 minutes of Cedar Rapids, IA. Home visits are required to ensure a good fit. Adopters must be Iowa residents; out-of-state placements aren’t possible. The Cedar Rapids adoption center is appointment-based and accommodates visits at your convenience.
