Kaida is an adorable boy with the cutest droopy lips and squishy-looking snoot. He’s a brave pup who was pretty uncertain when he came into the shelter and who is learning routines and expectations. He’s a smart pup, having learned how to walk on a leash since coming to us. We believe that with a compassionate, loving family, he will continue to learn more and more very good doggy skills! Kaida’s volunteer friends applaud his progress, saying the following: “Kaida walked well this morning. We sat down in the grass and he accepted some touch and scratches. We had a good walk back to the shelter.” “I sat with Kaida for a while in a play yard today. He came to sniff me and booped me with his nose, but was too nervous to take treats. His short walk back to the kennel was definitely a lot better.” Kaida has been tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup and enjoyed exploring the yard. He may do well with a confident dog friend in a new home to help him learn the ropes. Kaida is looking for a patient family who will give him positive reinforcement and help him gain confidence.
