About Gypsy

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Gypsy—a spirited 3-year-old Shepherd mix bursting with personality. Gypsy came to the Charlevoix Area Humane Society after her time in a crowded shelter, and she truly shines in her new space. Known by the staff as "quite the character," she's the fastest dog in the yard, zooming around with so much enthusiasm that she sometimes runs right into things—then pops back up, ready for more! Gypsy dreams of an active companion who loves long walks, outdoor adventures, and maybe even lake swims. She'd do best as the only pet in the home, since she's not a fan of other dogs and has a high prey drive, which means no cats. While she’s not quite housebroken yet, she always keeps her kennel tidy and is eager to learn and please. Stop by to say hello and discover if Gypsy could be your perfect running buddy and loyal friend. Start your journey together! Apply now.
