About Rambo
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Rambo is a 4-year-old, 136-pound fawn Presa Canario who perfectly blends toughness and tenderness. This big, handsome boy has overcome incredible adversity—after suffering a gunshot wound at the hands of a previous owner, Rambo was saved by a Good Samaritan. He’s since had surgery to repair his humerus, completed heartworm treatment, and is now fully vetted and neutered. Despite these challenges, Rambo remains a loving, gentle presence and quickly charms everyone he meets. He is house trained, crate trained, completely trustworthy indoors, not prone to chewing, and especially loves lounging on the furniture. He’s also alert and will bark to let you know what’s going on, gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys the company of children (though his size means he occasionally forgets his own strength!). Rambo is working on his leash skills, and although it’s not yet known how he does with cats, his friendly and resilient spirit shines through in all situations. A wonderful note: Rambo was born on December 31, making him a Capricorn—Capricorns are known for their perseverance and loyalty! Rambo is ready for a forever home where he can be adored and appreciated as the incredible companion he is. Could your home be the happy ending he so deserves? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?

Questions about Rambo
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
The Presa Canario is best suited for homes with plenty of space, such as houses with large fenced yards, and owners who have experience with large, powerful breeds. They thrive in environments where they have a clear role and routine.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Presa Canarios require ample outdoor space to move freely and burn off energy, ideally a large, securely fenced yard. Apartment living is generally not recommended due to their size and need for space.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
With proper training and supervision, Presa Canarios can be good with children. However, their large size means interactions with small children should always be monitored.
