About Cooper

Meet Cooper, sometimes called Coop. He’s a three-year-old brown tabby who spent time struggling outside in New York after being abandoned. When rescued, Cooper was in rough shape, but after patience and nurture in foster care, he's shown himself to be deeply sweet. Cooper sticks close to his person, follows them around the house, and settles on the couch beside them, always resting a paw or nudging for more affection if the petting stops. At night, he hops into bed to sleep right next to you, happiest by your side. He gets along well with his foster’s two cats, but would also be content as an only cat, soaking up all the attention from his humans. Cooper’s transformation from frightened street cat to loving companion has been remarkable. He’s neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies), microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and treated for fleas and worms. All of his medical records will be provided at adoption. If you’re looking for an affectionate, trusting cat who just craves human connection, Cooper is ready to join your family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
