Marterat, along with his siblings and mother, came to the rescue after a rough start but is recovering well, growing quickly, and displaying plenty of energy and curiosity. These pups got their looks and friendly temperament from both breeds—expect an affectionate, alert, and playful companion who is open to a variety of future dog jobs, whether you want a farm helper, a livestock guardian, or just a sweet family dog. Socialization has been top-notch, and Marterat is making fast progress with other dogs, cats, and children. Litter box training is currently underway, but he's still learning house manners.
