About Lucy
Click apply to start the adoption process. This sweet, soulful tuxedo girl is quietly hoping someone will notice her — and we’re hoping that’s you. Lucy is a spayed female cat around 10 years old, which qualifies her as a senior cat. She has no health issues and is vaccinated. Lucy is the kind of cat who doesn’t rush into your arms on day one. She’s very shy, especially in a busy environment, and when there are kids, dogs, or other cats around she tends to hide at first. Once she realizes she’s safe — once she decides you’re her person — Lucy becomes incredibly loving and snuggly. She’s a true cuddler, the quiet companion who will curl up close and make your home feel calmer just by being in it. She has no aggression and just wants a peaceful life where she can take her time and be cherished. Lucy’s front paws are declawed which makes it especially important that she be kept indoors and protected. PAWS adopts cats out as indoor-only pets, and Lucy would be happiest that way too — cozy window views, soft beds, and a patient human who understands that the best love stories sometimes start slowly. If you’ve ever wanted to do something truly life-changing — to give a gentle senior cat the comfort and security she deserves — please consider adopting Lucy. Fun fact: Since Lucy was born in early February, she’s an Aquarius, known for their independent and gentle spirit. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
