About Milo

Milo is a confident, playful 7-month-old pup with a people-oriented temperament and a healthy dose of independence. He loves sprinting around a fenced yard or doggie daycare with canine friends and always seems to have a toy in his mouth. Smart and curious, he’s quick to pick up new games, especially nose work like 'find it,' and is already advanced for his age when it comes to calming down after play. Milo bonds deeply with his human but doesn’t cling, and he’s happiest after a lively game of fetch or chasing a buddy. He crates well—chew toys are his comfort—and he walks nicely on a harness. Milo’s affectionate side shines through his sweet kisses and love for pets, and he’d suit sporty families with kids over seven years old. He gets along well with most dogs. Milo’s learning how to interact with cats; homes with dog-savvy, confident cats and supervision are a better bet, as he’s not quite ready for fearful cats. For now, he needs to be crated when unsupervised. His foster notes he’s healthy, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and neutered. Preference will go to applicants who have prior dog experience and can provide vet records. Milo is being fostered in Jacksonville, FL and meet and greets are welcome.
