About Rosie

Rosie and her brother Roscoe have spent their entire lives side by side, building a strong bond that's hard to miss. When they arrived at the shelter, Rosie needed a little time to get comfortable—understandable after losing her familiar home—but with Roscoe nearby, her confidence grew and she began to show her gentle, loving side. Rosie thrives with her brother and truly seems happiest when they're together. She's dog friendly and does beautifully with other respectful dogs but, like many hounds, she just isn't a match for cats. Rosie is house trained, leash trained, and has a calm temperament—she won't be jumping all over you. Her sweet nature makes her a wonderful addition to a family, and she's gentle around children. The shelter hopes Roscoe and Rosie can stay together if possible, knowing how much they support each other. Rosie is about 2 years old, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Rosie is currently in Mullins, SC. She and her sibling have made a big adjustment, but they're ready for a fresh start. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
