About Mousey
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Mousey’s story is one of incredible perseverance. Born on a farm to a stray mom who couldn’t care for her, Mousey faced a tough start—her eyes and nose were sealed shut from infection, and she still needed to nurse. Thanks to a quick-thinking rescue and the dedication of a foster bottle-feeder, Mousey overcame her initial struggles with respiratory and eye infections and seemed on the mend. Just as Mousey’s health was improving, she began having seizures. At first these episodes were mild, but they got worse—leaving her dazed and declining. When conventional treatments failed, a veterinarian’s rare hunch changed everything: Mousey was diagnosed with a congenital liver shunt, a condition where toxins build up in the body and cause neurological issues. Thanks to timely surgery at the end of January 2026, Mousey is now recovering well. She’s a survivor who has overcome so much, and she’s ready to find a forever home that can offer her the gentle, easy life she deserves. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
