Meet Lacey! Lacey is one lucky girl. She found herself on the List at a rural shelter with a deadline of Tuesday (2/3). Our fosters were there to pick up another dog on that same list (Cora, pictured below) when they walked past Lacey. She was happy, beautiful, and wagging her tail nonstop. Sadly, that happiness worked against her. Lacey developed happy tail, which couldnt be managed in a 4x4 brick kennel. So our foster did what any dog lover would dothey threw her in the car too. We call that a bonus dog. Lacey will need continued care for her tail (and yes, they do heal!) and a loving home where she can finally just be a dog.
