Roxy is a young Shepherd with the soul of an old dog and the heart of a playful pup. At just under a year old and a perfectly petite 45 pounds, she brings an ideal balance of gentle calm and joyful energy. She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, fully crate trained and potty trained, and loves going for walks. Roxy truly shines around other dogs and would thrive in a foster home with a confident, friendly pup to help boost her confidence—plus she lives for a good romp and play session. Roxy has a soft, affectionate, and eager-to-please temperament. She matches energy beautifully: she’ll play hard with playful dogs until they’re tired, but she’s just as happy to calmly coexist with older dogs who prefer to lounge. She’s incredibly submissive and genuinely loves everyone she meets. She enjoys adventures like the dog park and long walks, but she’s equally content just being close to her people. Like many young dogs, she has a bit of separation anxiety, so she’d do best in a home with someone who has the time and patience to help her feel secure.
