Dolly is in Potomac, MD, and looking for a patient home.
About Dolly
Dolly found her way to safety while pregnant and quickly got a reputation for being a dedicated mom to her country music litter—Johnny “Cash”, “Buck” Owens, “Reba” McEntire, and “June” Carter Cash. After fending for herself, she’s learning the ropes of indoor life and what it means to trust people, leaving her a bit cautious with new experiences. Dolly needs a patient adult home where grownups or older, dog-savvy kids let her set the pace. She gets along well with other dogs and is still figuring out how to be house trained. At only five months old, Dolly has a short, silvery blue coat, small frame, and plenty of puppy curiosity left. Her spay will be covered, so her new family can focus on helping her settle in and thrive. Dolly’s pups will be adoptable soon, but Dolly herself is ready for her first real home. Questions about Dolly

Dolly, as a Fox Terrier/mixed breed, thrives in homes that provide a mix of indoor comfort and opportunities for active exploration. She’ll do best with patient people who give her routine and personal space as she adjusts.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Dolly’s small Fox Terrier/mixed breed background means she’ll enjoy regular walks and fenced-in play, but she doesn’t require a huge yard. She’ll be happy stretching her legs and exploring safely with supervision.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Dolly’s breed mix can do well with respectful, older children who understand a dog’s boundaries. Since Dolly is still building her confidence, calmer and dog-savvy kids will be the right fit.
