Carmelita is a 1-year-old calico who packs a ton of personality into her small frame. Quick and lively, she brings an entertaining spark to any home, darting around with playful energy and a hint of attitude. She’s sassy but smart, and has proven herself adaptable despite a rocky start early in life. Carmelita may act a bit reserved when meeting new people, yet with patience, her bold and animated side shines through. She’ll fit in especially well with dogs (as long as introductions are handled with some care), and enjoys the company of older, respectful children who understand she sometimes craves quiet. Carmelita does have a grade 3 heart murmur—she’ll need regular vet checkups, so adopters should be comfortable keeping up with her medical care.
