About Tigger

Click apply to start the adoption process. Tigger is one of those dogs who will make you smile as soon as you meet him. He’s incredibly friendly, calm, and affectionate, greeting everyone with a loose, wiggly body, soft eyes, and a wagging tail. Within moments, Tigger melts hearts with kisses, leans in for pets, and basks in every bit of attention like an old friend. This sweet boy loves his toys—especially soft ones and tennis balls—and enjoys showing them off with pride. In playrooms, he’s playful and joyful, but he’s just as content to relax into cuddles, belly rubs, and butt scratches. Volunteers consistently say he’s easygoing, very well-mannered, and one of the most house-trained dogs at the shelter. Tigger is great on leash walks and always eager to follow direction. He knows how to sit, is food motivated, and does well transitioning in and out of his kennel. While he may get a little excited around other dogs, it’s always in a friendly, curious way—he’s been seen stopping to share nose kisses and wiggly greetings through gates, remaining non-reactive throughout. Tigger enjoys time outdoors sniffing and exploring, but he absolutely loves being with people. He’s looking for a home full of love, routine, and perhaps a basket full of toys to toss around. A house with a yard would be perfect, but Tigger could thrive in an apartment as long as he gets regular walks and enrichment. He’s laid-back, cuddly, playful, and an easy companion who’s ready to be someone’s best friend. If you want a loving, devoted dog who will shower you with affection, Tigger could be the one for you!
