About Dandelion
Start your journey together! Apply now. After nearly a year in the shelter, Dandelion has truly blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and downright joyful companion. At two years old, this cuddlebug and zoomie enthusiast is soaking up every bit of life on the outside, and he’s ready to share it all with his forever family. Dandelion is a social pup who loves chasing balls, splashing in a kiddie pool, enjoying walks, and tagging along for any adventure the day brings. When it’s time to relax, he cherishes curling up beside you and soaking in all the love. This lovable dog gets along well with other dogs and benefits from relaxed mealtimes in a quiet spot to help him feel calm and secure. He is making wonderful progress with potty training, going up to eight hours accident-free during the day—and even longer overnight. At bedtime, he’s perfectly happy snoozing on a dog bed, couch, or right by your side if you welcome him. Dandelion walks beautifully on a harness and shorter leash, showing curiosity and calm as he explores the world with you. He's a bright, eager learner who channels his energy into fun activities, enrichment toys, and even frozen treats. Thanks to an old vocal cord injury, his bark is quiet, but he speaks volumes with his happy wiggles, soulful gaze, and gentle presence. Dandelion will thrive with continued love, structure, and either leashed adventures or a secure yard in which to safely play. This rare blend of fun-loving spirit and affectionate loyalty makes Dandelion a fantastic hiking buddy, poolside pal, and devoted snuggler. He’s bloomed beautifully—all he needs now is a loving home to help him keep growing. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
