About Dandelion
After nearly a year in the shelter, Dandelion has really come into his own as a joyful, playful, and affectionate dog. At two years old, he’s enthusiastic about life outside the shelter and is looking for a family who’ll let him be their devoted sidekick. Dandelion thrives on play—he’ll chase balls, splash around in a kiddie pool, and happily trot beside you on walks. When he’s not in motion, he loves to curl up for snuggles and soak up attention. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys a structured routine at mealtime, which helps him feel at ease. Potty training is going well—he’s reliably accident-free during the day and through the night. Dandelion sleeps contentedly on a dog bed, couch, or next to you if he’s invited. A harness and short leash work best for his walks. He is curious, easy to redirect, and picks up new things quickly. Instead of loud barks (due to a past vocal cord injury), he communicates with happy wiggles and expressive eyes. He’s looking for a home that can offer consistent routines, love, and leashed adventures or a secure yard. Dandelion brings out the fun and affectionate side of everyone he meets, making him a perfect companion for hikes, relaxing by the pool, or cozy evenings at home. He’s already blossomed and is ready to keep growing in a home of his own. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
