I’m a big, lanky, wiggly boy with a giant heart and a personality to match. My foster dad says I’m a total goof, because I love to flop right over for belly rubs and squirm around when I’m happy (which is often).I’m fully house trained and very proud of that. I even know how to use the dog door all by myself, and if I ever find it locked, I wait patiently by the door until my dad opens it. I love my daily walks (sometimes even twice a day!), and I usually walk nicely on a loose leash only pulling when I get excited about a squirrel or another dog I want to meet on the trail.I’ve lived with a senior dog, and we got along great!...but I sometimes forget that not everyone wants to play as much as I do. I’d do best with a dog friend who enjoys some playtime or a human who’s happy to help me keep practicing my manners.At home, I’m a pretty quiet guy. I don’t bark much, and when my foster dad leaves, I happily go into my crate and relax until he comes back. I also love my toys and can entertain myself for hours tossing them around the yard like a professional goofball.I’m super smart and already know “sit” and “stay.” I take treats gently, I’m very trainable, and I just need someone willing to keep helping me learn because I really want to be the best dog I can be.
