Meet Tootsie Roll! This terrier mix came to North Fort Myers, FL when animal control ran out of space, and captured hearts by raising 11 puppies right here at the rescue. Now that her job as a mom is winding down, it’s finally her time to be spoiled. Playfulness is at the core of her personality; Tootsie Roll is known for her joyful energy, always ready for a romp or to chase after a toy. Yet she gladly settles in for cuddles and lap time, loving every bit of attention she gets. She gets along well with most other dogs and older children, but not with cats. Tootsie Roll does best with a home that gives her plenty of space to run and play—she thrives with room to stretch her legs. While house training is a work in progress, her affectionate personality and loving nature make her an easy companion to love. She’s spayed and up to date on vaccinations, ready for the next chapter.
