Valentina is an approximately two-year-old shepherd mix weighing around 50 pounds, and she’s the total package of brains, heart, and playful energy. She is house trained and crate trained, rides well in the car (no car sickness for this girl!), and walks nicely on a leash. Valentina loves being out and about and truly enjoys an active lifestyle. She does wonderfully with both large and small dogs and would be happy in a home with canine companions. She has not been around cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. Valentina has been around children of all ages—from infants to 11 years old—and does great with them. She absolutely loves kids and is gentle and affectionate. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people at first, but she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds once she feels comfortable. She isn’t afraid of much, but raised voices make her uneasy, so she would do best in a calmer, positive home environment. Valentina is eager to please and responds very well to direction—she listens when told “no” or “stop” and genuinely wants to do the right thing. This sweet girl is moderate to high energy and loves running around the yard, playing with her foster family and other dogs. Balls are her favorite, but she’s happy with just about any toy. As a bonus, she also enjoys water! When Valentina first came into rescue, she was underweight and afraid. With love and care, she has blossomed into a healthy, confident, playful, and very loving girl who is ready for her forever home. Valentina is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
