About Miata
Miata is a young black-and-white male domestic shorthair who made quite an entrance when he arrived in Fresno, CA in October 2025. He slipped away during his surrender and spent a wild night hidden inside the engine compartment of a staff member’s car, only to be found safe and sound the next morning. That daring stunt earned him the name Miata. He’s still on the shy side, preferring to observe the world carefully before warming up. A patient, gentle household will let him build confidence at his own pace. Miata gets along with other cats and children, so he should fit in nicely with a calm, family-oriented environment. He’s a sweet survivor, and with steady support, you’ll get to see him come out of his shell. This fellow is a bit cautious but full of promise. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
