Then a foster gave him a second chance, and he’s made impressive progress since. Beneath the fear, he turned out to be warm and devoted. Luca is a true Velcro dog—he’ll press himself close to his trusted humans, craving attention and affection. He’s genuinely friendly with other dogs and cats alike and lives alongside them without issue. He’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and calm on the leash, so the basics are already in place. Luca does best with women; he isn’t aggressive toward men, but he’s uneasy around them and seems far more comfortable in a female-centered home.
