About Callahan
Click apply to start the adoption process. Callahan is a big, lovable, and chatty 7-year-old gentleman who has truly earned his shot at a happy ending. After being rescued as a stray with serious injuries and facing a long road to recovery, Callahan never lost his affectionate, optimistic spirit. Even while enduring the discomfort of wound care, a cone, and itchy skin, he remained sweet, easygoing, and grateful for love. During his rehabilitation, Callahan was found to have some food allergies that delayed his healing. With a specialized diet and medication, he's made a wonderful turnaroundāhis fur is thriving again, and his skin looks fantastic. Callahan is also FIV+, but he has always socialized well with other cats and shouldnāt be overlooked for this. He lives for lounging in cozy corners, observing birds, and curling up for long, comfy naps. Following recent vet care that included a dental cleaning and heart checks, Callahan only needs heart medication and yearly checkups to stay healthy. He will be a forever foster, which means St. Bonnie's will cover the cost of his ongoing medical expenses for preexisting conditions. What this sweet boy wants most is a home where heāll be showered with the comfort, care, and companionship heās long deserved. Visitors fall for Callahan instantlyāyouāre sure to as well. Fun fact: with a birthday on October 17, Callahan is a Libra, known for their balanced and gentle nature. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
