About Darla
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Darla is a lovely older German Shepherd Dog with an irresistibly playful spirit. Despite being a senior, she has tons of energy for ball games and will eagerly chase a ball for hours if given the chance. Darla has a clear preference for being the only pet in the home; while she can be turned out next to other dogs, she wants all of your love and attention for herself. Her princess personality shines, and she thrives best with her own space. Darla is wonderfully social with people, greets everyone with warmth, and even enjoys visits to the groomer. Though her background is a bit of a mystery due to arriving as a stray, she’s shown she knows basic commands and walks beautifully on a leash. She adores attention and still has so much love to give in her golden years. Darla is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is free from any known health concerns. She is hoping to find a best friend who will make her the only pet in the household, offering her a comfy couch and plenty of companionship. Fun fact: With a birthday of March 16, Darla is a Pisces—a gentle and affectionate sign, known for being loving and loyal companions. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
