During a dog test with Henna, Grumpy showed curiosity and interest, asking for some space at first but relaxing once he realized he meant no harm. When things got a little too exciting, he came back to his handlers for reassurance — showing he wants to trust and do the right thing, he just needs time and guidance. His reactivity stems from fear and uncertainty, so Grumpy would do best in a calm, experienced home that understands his breed and can help him continue building confidence. A home without small children would be ideal, and we’d also feel comfortable sending him to a trusted rescue partner.
