About Honey
Basics; Good with kids (school age; 6&7) House trained - do not use kennel when leaving the house - she holds her bladder for hours before we come home & will take her out immediately after and no accident in the house. Not kennel trained - previous owner/foster said would bite & go in kennel for bathroom needs - so I didn't feel the need to pressure her there since she's already house trained. Leash training - will tug to lead but will listen if pulled back and asked to heal. Will do commands "heal, stay, wait, come" while on leash. Responds well. L Honey Characteristics; 1. She sleeps in my bed, she finds spots on top of the covers and will stretch out. She is definitely 8/10. She will only come close to you if you give permission. 2. Loves to play, plays soft with kids, doesn't jump on them and knock them over, will snif and lick before playing. Favorite toys are food items clickers (sandwiches crunches, reindeer IPA, Christmas tree) will play fetch, will play tug o war, will return to your hand if you drop it to resume play. 3. Activity level is mild; she can play on her own with her toys, she can lay down for a lazy rain day, and she enjoys walks. 4. She's human friendly, kid friendly, family friendly, loving, affection, cautious, quiet and does not bark. She does not growl and will walk away if uncomfortable. 5. She is loving because she follows you around and makes sure you're doing okay. She puts her hands and body on you while laying down and will squeeze in to bed to be warm. 6. She is quiet for a pitpull terrier mix. She is small for a pitpull. She has the most beauty honey brown brindle coat. 7. I love that she speaks with her eyes. She doesn't have to make noise but she does make direct eye contact and doesn't blink when serious haha. Ears will perk up if asked to go "outside" which is indication of yes, or if asked to go "outside" and she turns her whole body away from you as a no lol 8. She is a perfect dog for a family. She is small, quiet, alert and extremely loyal. I absolutely love her for myself but I am not in a financial position to keep her. I will take care of her as if she is my own but actively looking for a home. 9. My home hahahaha . I'm kidding but she needs to be the only dog. She came from the previous foster with two other dogs; older whom was not playing well with - not my experience but what was said; and one fairly younger and well adapted. So far in my experience she is extremely friendly of all dogs and wants to play and learn. She would do great with older children who's had a dog before. She deserves to be in a home that will honor her and not misuse her. 10. She's absolutely friendly. She's beauty. Her eyes are honey yellow, her coat is honey brown, her fur coat is mix matched with Brindle on top and American terrier on the belly side. She loves the peanut PJs I bought her.
