About Rosie
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Say hello to Rosie! Rosie is a 3-year-old female mixed breed who weighs around 50 lbs. She is a happy, healthy dog with no special medical needs, already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Rosie is dog-friendly, especially with familiar canine friends, but it may take her a little time to feel comfortable with new dogs. While her compatibility with cats is unknown, she is super friendly and would do best with dog-savvy children aged 10 and up, since she’s still learning not to jump during moments of excitement. Rosie is house trained and also crate trained, though she doesn’t need to be crated when left home alone. She walks nicely on a leash, handles car rides quietly, and is happiest when she’s had her daily exercise—she scores about an 8 out of 10 on the energy scale! She enjoys relaxing during the day but needs regular walks or play sessions to avoid evening zoomies. Rosie has lived happily both in apartments (with plenty of walks) and in homes with fenced yards, so she’s quite adaptable. Her favorite toys are squeaky and stuffed, and she delights in learning and practicing commands thanks to completing one-on-one sessions with a professional trainer. Rosie knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, paw, and come. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
