About Cowan

Cowan is a good-looking young American Staffordshire Terrier mix, about 8 months old. He started life without much affection, but the rescue team is determined to make up for it, showering him with all the attention and affection he missed out on. Cowan is shy with people and still learning to trust, but he’s gradually coming out of his shell. His foster family reports he’s making solid progress with house training, and he’s already been neutered. Cowan connects best with other dogs—he gets along well with dog buddies at the rescue and enjoys playful energy with them. He still needs patience and steady support to keep building his confidence, but with a gentle approach and time, he’ll keep coming out of his shell. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Cowan
