She came into the sanctuary as a feral cat, wary of humans, but patience, steady kindness, and a generous supply of tasty food have changed her outlook. Now she’s discovered that humans might just be worth getting to know, especially when treats are involved. Expect Strawberry to hide in new environments. She needs adopters willing to wait her out and coax her gently. Food offers, quiet presence, and a hands-off approach give her the confidence to emerge and show off her affectionate side. She adores gentle petting when she feels secure, arching into soft strokes and basking in slow attention. She has a thing for lickable treats and can’t resist a visitor with snacks. When she’s comfortable, she’s playful—loves sitting high in cat trees, burrowing into plush beds, and batting her collection of toys. Other cats are a plus for her. She is social with friendly felines and would do best with another cat in the home. Strawberry’s dental health is in great shape after a recent cleaning. She’s spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and consistent with her litter box habits. She must be kept indoors, and declawing is not permitted.
