About Austin

Austin is a 5 year old cuddle bug with the face of a teddy bear and a heart to match. He greets you with the sweetest meows when you come home and loves nothing more than lounging by your side—or better yet, curled up next to you on the bed. He’s friendly, affectionate, and easygoing. While he’s fine with other cats, he’s more of a “do his own thing” kind of guy. He loves vertical spaces, adores human attention, and will politely meow when he’s ready for love. Austin was rescued during a TNR project, and it was clear he had once known a home. He’s not looking to go back outside—he just wants to be safe, cozy, and loved again. If you’re looking for a calm, cuddly companion with a gentle soul, Austin might be your perfect match. When it comes to food, Austin enjoys a rotation of brands like Merrick, Tiki Cat After Dark, and Nulo. He eats primarily wet food 2-3 times a day (morning, evening, and night). Since male cats are more prone to urinary crystals and his age makes him more susceptible to kidney disease, Austin has freeze-dried treats instead of kibble to help keep him healthy. His favorite freeze-dried brands are Vital Essentials and Whole Life, and he loves a variety of flavors like turkey, beef, duck, and chicken. He has no food sensitivities. ------------------------------------------------- Medical history: • neutered • up to date on age appropriate vaccines • FIV negative / FELV negative • microchipped • dewormed and deflead Austin weighs 16 lbs AUSTIN adoption fee is $150 If you would like to adopt AUSTIN, please fill out the attached adoption application: https://www.paulthecatguy.com/adopt - Unfortunately we do not have a public space to set up visits, so meet and greets will be done virtually after completion of application and pending approval. - Adoption fees apply and cover spay/neuter surgery; up to date on vaccines at time of adoption; microchip; treated with defleaing, deworming; and often more LEARN MORE ABOUT US: paulthecatguy.com ; Instagram via @paulthecatguy ; Facebook.com paulthecatguy
