This sweet girl is named Evie🩵 Her name comes from the day she was rescued which was around New Years Eve. Evie was found emaciated, malnourished, abused, and neglected. It wasn’t until we posted a picture of her chained up in cold weather with no shelter or food until finally law enforcement did something. The owners surrendered her to K9-Kids dog rescued where she currently resides at her foster family’s home, enjoying the country life along with other dogs and animals. Evie is playful but gentle, sweet but sassy, and most importantly just wants to love and be loved. She continues to gain weight and her hair is starting to grow back. Due to the abused and neglect she’s suffered some pretty severe skin issues but does not have any type of mange, only a dermatitis yeast condition that can be caused from malnutrition and is being treated with a specific diet which we’ve seen HUGE progress and it will only get better from here.
